Madhubani art was first made over 5,000 years ago, made by women as wall art originally, a world of Hindu gods and India folklore, domestic themes such as wedding and farming; tradition was revived and transferred to paper in the 1960's following drought. All the art in this collection is handmade, original, one of a kind, unique, etc... Vegetable and organic dyes along with acrylic paints
